Baked Sweet Potato Fries

All the flavour without the guilt.

Listen, so... I'm never gonna substitute potato french fries. They've been there for me my whole life through breakups and birthdays. Don't judge, I just love'em! However, right now in my life I'm trying to find alternatives for everyday's cravings without sacrificing my cholesterol rates. Hence, these amazing baked (not fried yet delicious) sweet potato fries. very family friendly and easy to make!

Ingredients:

1 sweet potato (mine was huge and made to batches like the one in the picture)

1 egg white

1/2 teaspoon curry powder

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin,

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes

1/2 teaspoon salt.

Preheat oven to 400F. Use parchment paper for your baking sheet and set aside. Cut the sweet potato, or camote as we call it Mexico, and cut into fries. (Little sticks) Now whisk the egg with a fork on a medium bowl until frothy and foamy. Add the cumin, turmeric, curry, chilli flakes and salt and pour the mix over the fries. I used a brush to make sure all the fries were evenly coated but you can use whatever. Now bake for 20-30 minutes. Check every 10 minutes and decide on your preferences the doneness of the fries. Enjoy!

Bon Appetit!
